Start your morning with a hands-on, creative workshop inspired by The dead don't go until we do. Led by artist Fibi Cowley, this session invites children to explore identity, heritage, and storytelling through making.

Using upcycled textiles, you will create a portrait of yourself or someone from your family, friends, or community. Inspired by Małgorzata Mirga-Tas’ vibrant, textile-based practice, this workshop encourages reflection on who we are, where we come from, and the stories we carry with us.

Bring along a piece of clothing or fabric that holds meaning to you, and transform it into something new - either as part of your own artwork or to share with others in the session.

Suitable for children. All materials provided (plus any textiles you’d like to contribute).
