ajeeb studios and Talbot Rice Gallery invite you to a special afternoon of art and creativity inspired by Egyptian contemporary artist Wael Shawky.

We'll begin with a henna workshop inspired by the themes and imagery in Shawky's art. Wael Shawky is internationally known for his multidisciplinary practice exploring history, identity, and storytelling. His visually rich works such as the Cabaret Crusades series, reimagines historical narratives using marionettes, performance, and intricately painted sets.

The henna supplied is by Mahsa (@mahsastories) who makes her own organic henna cones.

Spaces are limited, so if you can no longer come, please cancel your ticket so someone else can take your space.
