Student Session | Meet the Team
Thursday 21 May, 5pm
Join us for an informal, in person meet and greet open to students from ECA and beyond.
Are you curious about working in an art gallery or finding out more about the people behind Talbot Rice Gallery? Join us for an informal, in person meet and greet open to students from ECA and beyond!
This session is a chance to get to know the team and learn more about how Talbot Rice Gallery operates within the University of Edinburgh. You will have the chance to meet Tessa Giblin (Director), James Clegg (Curator), Holly Morton (Assistant Technician), Rachael Champion (Technician), Monika Stepanikova (Duty and Office Manager) and Sarah Leal (Community Engagement Officer).
We will begin with a short introduction to Talbot Rice Gallery followed by an open session where you can speak directly with staff members, ask questions and gain insight into their career paths, day-to-day work, and experiences in the arts sector. Whether you are looking for advice, exploring career options or simply interested in what happens behind the scenes, this is a welcoming space to start conversations and make connections.
This is your gallery. So, come along to discover more about your University art gallery and the people who make the exhibitions happen.
Profiles of the team members attending will be shared in advance so you can plan who you would like to speak with.
